I fond the drivers at http://www.os2site.com/sw/drivers/usb/index.html,
   but they aren't at hobbes.

usbcfg7a immediately identified them as 10.171 after I copied the
   files to \os2\boot

They boot fine with my Phenom II 4-core machine in single processor
   mode.

My hope was that I could get to run ACPI /SMP /APIC, which used to
hung at usbehcd load time during boot, but now the system crashes at
boot time with traps that keep cycling on the screen, first showing
ACPI as the problem, and then KERNEL. The trap screens scroll and loop
around without stopping for five or 6 times and then the system
finally stops on an incomplete trap message.

So I am back to single processor mode, since /SMP /PIC crashes shortly
after the workplace is up. I've been trying each ACPI and USB update
to see if I can get stable SMP, for over a year now. It looks like
multicore AMD Phenom II on BIOSTAR TA790GXB A2+ just won't work with
   eCS's ACPI SMP. Disappointing.
