A strange issue for me...my old machine had 2 CD drives (well, 1 CD and 1
   DVD),
the new one has a single DVD drive...however, the multimedia setup program
(G:\MMOS2\STPM.EXE) still shows 2 TABs assigned to them, namely:

   1) Compact Disc - default, Drive Y: (this is OK)
   2) Compact Disc 2 - Drive P: (this is NOT OK, as no such hardware exists)

Now...until now I hadn't really noticed this. I am using Dani drivers (1.8.5)
and only a single Optical drive shows up in the DRIVES folder.
However...recently I wanted to create 2 more HPFS partitions and when the real
NEW P: drive was created I started running into some really weird problems.

Given that the MMOS2 sub-system still thinks I actually have 2 optical
drives...I am thinking the 2nd one does NOT need to be there anymore and to
clean things up I should dump it. The question is: HOW???

I see the obvious INI files and one of them clearly shows the 2 CD
   devices...but
is it sufficient to simply edit this file?

It's been quite some time since I had to do this...any hints?

   Thanks!
