   Admittedly, it became too technical (I am too involved in the details    
   currently).   
   But /V and /FS are documented in the original IBM driver package:   
      
   /V : "verbose", give some information about this and that (I/O / memory base    
   address and IRQ of driver)   
   /FS: "force shutdown": instead of just letting the host controller continue    
   to execute on shutdown, stop the controller/put the controller into reset   
   This often has some influence when you reboot or repower the machine for    
   whatever reason.
