   how do you run more than one vmodem instance anyway? i always had to use a   
   different machine to do that... i don't think vmodem was designed to allow for   
   more than one instance but the 'net was a lot different back then when vmodem   
   brought us its capabilities of putting dial-up BBSes on the 'net...
