   Actually, it was very well designed.  What caused its downfall was a    
   combination of being essentially sabotaged, then the delays caused by    
   that to out-market it.   
      
   If it weren't for some truly slimy, underhanded corporate shenanigans,    
   OS/2 would likely be a very viable option today.
