|    Suspend Monitor    |

Hi,              I have OS/2 Warp 4 fixpack 15 running on a somewhat modern PC (early P4 era)        with a Samsung CRT monitor. I'm using the free SciTech SNAP graphics        drivers. This is working fine. While I have tinkered with OS/2 over the        years, I am no expert. I am having difficulty figuring out how to set up the        monitor to go into power-saving (suspend, stand-by etc) mode after a given        period. I do not want the whole system to do this, just the monitor.              I've run the SNAP tests for DPMS and they all work fine. But I can't find        any settings to enable this. The closest would be in System        Setup->System->Screen on page two (Monitor). There is a check enabling DPMS        but no where to set a timeout. And despite this being checked, the monitor        never goes into any power-saving mode.              Searching Hobbes I found APM2 but that seems to be designed to put the entire        system into power-saving with no control to choose just the monitor.              Can someone point me in the right direction please? :)              Thanks,       Doug              --- Telegard/2 v3.09.g2-sp4/mL        * Origin: The Ville - Kinston, NS (1:255/36)    |
