   you are welcome :)  TBH, i didn't know eCS was set to CP850 as the default   
   until after i finally for a good installation and i was trying to read   
   messages using the box drawing characters in one of the echos... as soon as i   
   saw it, i knew what the problem was... anyway, i had some other things that i   
   also wanted to change/add to my eCS install and i couldn't find how to do it   
   on an already installed system (adding firebird was one, removing the included   
   4OS2 was another since i have my own) but i knew i could do them during the   
   install so i wiped that OS drive and reinstalled again... i think i probably   
   went thru 15 or 20 install attempts due to various problems and troubles...   
   anyway, at some point, i saw that option and made sure i flipped it on each   
   install afterward ;)
