   I have a problem when booting my quad core using /ACPI. The first USB    
   driver to load hangs. It works fine if I use /PIC. I suspect that the    
   problem that you are patching is not that one, or, it may be a    
   slightly different indication than what you seem to be describing. In    
   any case, I would be willing to test it to see if it makes any    
   difference. Almost usable address below.
