   No argument that Lucide (actually the poppler library) does a great job    
   of reading PDF files. The problem is that poppler along with most of the    
   other stuff coming out of freedesktop.org, outputs 32 bit graphics and    
   the Matrox driver only handles 24 bit input.   
   So Lucide needs a workaround for this or people are going to have to    
   sidegrade to Snap.
