   As Steve said it is a driver problem. If Lucide is affected by it (and    
   it may be as it depends on a library that uses the same library as    
   Firefox to do all the drawing) things will be slanted.   
   More likely you are missing fonts, maybe the DejaVu ones that are    
   distributed with eCS and recommended for Firefox.
