EHCI controllers can coexist with but do not require the presence of either
   OCHI or UHCI as Doug's
machine demonstrates. Some systems have all three types; others, just one or
   two. Over the years I
have seen examples of every combination.

What USBxHCD.SYS drivers you need to load depends on the USB hardware present
   in your system.

The utility HCIMONIT.EXE that comes with IBM's basic usb package reports how
   many OHCI, UHCI, and
EHCI controllers are installed in your system. (eCS2.0GA installs HCIMONIT.EXE
   in b:\os2, where b is
the boot drive.) You need one BASEDEV=USBxHCD.SYS line for each type x
   controller present. So if
HCIMONIT reports 2 OHCI, 2 UHCI, and 1 EHCI controller then you need 5 BASEDEV
   lines: 2 ...O..., 2
...U..., and 1 ...E...; moreover these must precede the BASEDEV=USBD.SYS line.
   If any of the
required driver instances are omitted, some usb devices will not work.
