|    RSJ in a multidrive system    |

From: tholen@antispam.ham              I'm trying to configure RSJ for use in a multi-burner environment.       Things were fine up until recently, when I replaced an old drive       with a Plextor 870A. If I let LOCKCDR.FLT do its thing as in the       past, all the drives will be recognized by RSJ and converted into       drives that RSJ can use. The problem is that the autodetect       function for the new Plextor drive sets it up for CUESHEET DAO mode,       which doesn't work right. If I edit the cddrv.inf file and change       the DAO mode to RAW-3, then the Plextor drive works properly.       However, apparently I need to modify CONFIG.SYS to get LOCKCDR.FLT       to use the new entry in the cddrv.inf file. My CONFIG.SYS entry is              BASEDEV=LOCKCDR.FLT -d -n -v -i:"PLEXTOR DVDR PX-870A "              So now everything works on the Plextor, but the problem is that RSJ       doesn't recognize the other drives. If I add additional lines to       CONFIG.SYS similar to the above but for each of the other drives,       then I see three sets of output during the boot process, with the       drives not listed in the -i section being ignored.              Anybody out there using RSJ with multiple drives, one of them being       manually configured with cddrv.inf? If so, how are you doing it?                     --- Internet Rex 2.31        * Origin: Aioe.org NNTP Server (1:261/20.999)    |
