I've applied this patch some time ago.

For reference, my new Pentax K-5 DSLR transfers at about 4-4.5MB/s, my old HP
850 on the other hand can only do about 700KB/s. The Pentax being a brand new
camera is most definitely a USB 2.0 device, the HP on the other hand claims to
be USB 2.0, but I'm thinking it's actually connecting at 1.0 speeds. Both of
   the
cameras use some of the early SD cards, so nowhere near the fastest rates out
there as one would expect to see with the high-speed/high-capacity cards these
days. The Pentax in particular goes through storage space like it's going out
   of
   style...LOL, it's a 16 Meg camera, takes full HD1080 video as well...so I'm
definitely upgrading to a faster SD card this week.

What are you guys seeing in terms of xfer rates?
