   Interesting occurrence a short while ago.  The Firefox 4.0b8pre crashed   
   suddenly, immediately after I heard a beep.  I'm pretty sure the beep   
   wasn't triggered by Firefox, but rather by incoming mail to Thunderbird.   
   I know it's possible to click on links in email and have the URL brought   
   up in Firefox, so apparently the two do talk to one another.  Could it   
   be that the other random crashes I've seen with 4.0b8pre were also   
   triggered by incoming email (but incoming email doesn't always trigger   
   a Firefox crash)?
