Interesting ideas you guys...I have a rather simple backup process...I tossed
   a
500Gig spare SATA drive into my machine and on nightly basis I use 'dSync' to
move the changed files over to the backup drive. The backup drive is
   partitioned
exactly the same way as my main OS2 boot drive, so the sync is basically
partition to partition at file level.

Is it ideal? No...but it does give me basically all I need to recover a
drive...which I have had to do once so far (knock on wood...lol).

The new machine (reason for my original post) hasn't gotten assembled yet...I
   do
finally have all the components and probably over Christmas will put this
   puppy
   together.
