   On further inspection, actually, it looks as if PIN does have logic to   
   handle this. I think the problem is actually that PIN uses a fixed   
   size 4 kB buffer to store all UI options defined in the PPD (including   
   the multilingual options), and this particular PPD just defines so   
   many that it might be overrunning the buffer...   
      
   The more I look at the PIN source, the more I think that it's an   
   atrociously badly-written program.

   Ideally, it should. I think fixing it properly, however, would    
   probably require rewriting most of the program. Not something that's
