   tried this (actually I remmed the offending lines instead of deleting    
   them) and the driver imported fine   
   The WPS object also created fine.   
   However, any app that I try to print from closes abruptly any time I    
   select that printer, without leaving a trace in the cups error_log

   Yes, despammed.com disappeared for I while some time ago, and I never    
   found a good reason to change it.

   Interestingly, I noticed that focuswriter (a QT text editor) actually    
   uses the cups printer (even without a WPS object), and does not show any    
   of the regular os/2 printers in the printer list... Is this a feature or    
   a bug?
