I took a look at it. The PPD file uses some kind of clever multilingual
support that PIN has no idea how to handle. Basically, any line that
starts with one of the following:
     *da.
     *de.
     *es.
     *fi.
     *fr.
     *it.
     *ja.
     *ko.
     *nl.
     *nb.
     *pt.
     *ru.
     *sv.
     *zh_CN.
     *zh_TW.
   has to go.

Deleting the offending lines allows PIN to import the file successfully
(and incidentally reduces the PPD's file size by about 2/3).

I can send you the fixed PPD file, but you don't provide any indication
   about how to contact you.
