   No, this is definitely a seeking problem.  DosSetFilePtr() returns    
   ERROR_SEEK.  M. Dodel removed his IFS driver and the problem went away.     
   But with it present, that's what happens.  So we're seeing what    
   DosSetFilePtrL() does.
