   Hard to get a good sense of things, I know. The Japanese media is   
   mostly saying "don't panic, it's not that bad", and all the foreign   
   media are practically saying the apocalypse is upon is. I try to   
   ignore the reporters and politicians as much as possible and listen    
   to what the actual scientists are saying...

   Hah, the Canadian embassy has specifically told me they're NOT giving   
   out iodide pills. And I'm only 45km from the reactor, so I guess you   
   have the advantage of me on both counts. :P
