   To be honest, the idea of working on, or even in any way bothering with,    
   a 16-bit DLL that has to adhere to a quite crude and limited API seems    
   to be a fairly foolish one, at this point. (-:   
      
   A much more productive thing to do, that will indeed help with this very    
   tool, would be to get a binary-compatible SOM workalike up and running.    
   Making the classes in those DLLs language-neutral and compiler-neutral    
   is one of the things to do before it is finished. That means making    
   them into SOM classes, that hence will require a SOM runtime.
