This has happened with more than one FTN       so far. Not sure if I have a setting set incorrectly somewhere.              When I join a new FTN, and send areafix a %RESCAN and I end up with thousands       of new messages I obviously go to set a newscan date.              The problem is, I still randomly end up with some echo bases not actually       updating with the newscan date and still have 1000+ unread in one base.              I assumed maybe this was just a fluke the first time. So, I did it again, same       results for that single FTN. Since then, I have seen it with two other FTN's       that I have setup.              Any ideas?       --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: Agency HUB, Dunedin - New Zealand | Fido<>Usenet Gateway (3:770/3)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 30/0 80/1 90/1 103/705 105/81 120/340 123/131 129/305       SEEN-BY: 154/10 218/700 221/1 6 226/30 227/114 702 229/424 426 428       SEEN-BY: 229/452 550 700 981 1016 1017 240/1120 5832 249/206 307 317       SEEN-BY: 249/400 261/38 280/464 282/464 1038 292/854 301/0 1 101 113       SEEN-BY: 317/3 322/757 335/364 341/66 342/200 633/267 280 640/1384       SEEN-BY: 712/620 848 770/1 3 100 340 772/210 220 230 920/1 5020/1042       SEEN-BY: 5058/104       PATH: 770/3 1 712/848 301/1 229/426           |
