   Hello again, g00r00!

On 06 Aug 2021, g00r00 said the following...
g0> BW> So, just to confirm -- the .lnk, .scn and .xlr are Mystic's?
    g0>
g0> Yes, those are Mystic specific. The JAM storage are the files that have
g0> an extension that ends with .jXX and anything else with the base
g0> filename would be Mystic specific.

Speaking of message bases and paths -- is there anything "special" with System
Paths --> Message Base Path vs the Path set for each message base?

I have the Path set for each message base, and am thinking of moving them all
"up" one step, from /mnt/bbs/mystic/msgs to /mnt/bbs/msgs. For each message
base this would also include adjusting its Path accordingly, e.g. from
   /mnt/bbs/mystic/msgs/fidonet/ to /mnt/bbs/msgs/fidonet/.

Would it be "bad" to do such a move for some reason that you can think of?

My reasoning for moving them is that the message bases aren't necessarily tied
entirely to Mystic (apropos GoldEd), so should live outside the
mnt/bbs/mystic directory hierarchy. Similar to the echomail inbound/outbound,
the actual directories for file areas (their contents), etc.

Any thoughts on this are much appreciated. :)

   Thanks in advance!

   Best regards
   Bj”rn
