   Thanks for the quick reply. I did try again with the brackets and same error   
   popped up. The above was just my last attempt, I tried several options.   
      
    g0> Another thing is to make sure abridge itself works in DOS without a BBS.

   arrowbridge is working fine with netfoss, so I copied that menu and made the   
   needed changes for DX.   
      
   I wouldn't bother you with this but I want to switch over to ssh sometime
