TID: Mystic BBS 1.12 A46       MSGID: 1:106/127 bc8c7a68       TZUTC: -0600       I'm the sort of person that values function over form. I like making things       work, regardless of how pretty it is. After I'm happy with the       functionality, then I'll worry about making it pretty.              That being said, I've experimented a little bit with Linux terminal cinsole       games as doors. It looks like it works ok, with at least some if the old text       adventure tyoes, although I haven't tried saving and going back to it later       yet.              Now I'm wondering about doing the same with something like Newsboat, or some       similar RSS reader. I'm fairly sure that functionallt, I could get it to       work, however my question is whether it would be possible to do so with       unique new message pointers for each user.              Or, barring that, I need a much better understanding of the autoposting of       Ttext files, where I could get a way to export each entry in the RSS feed to       a message on the BBS. Each particular feed being it's own message area.              My ultimate goal is finding ways to provide unique content for my BBS that I       haven't seen a million times before.               --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A46 2020/08/26 (Raspberry Pi/32)        * Origin: theoasisbbs.ddns.net:1357       SEEN-BY: 1/123 90/1 105/81 106/127 120/340 123/131 129/305 153/757       SEEN-BY: 154/10 203/0 221/1 6 226/30 227/114 702 229/101 424 426 452       SEEN-BY: 229/550 664 981 1016 1017 240/1120 5832 249/206 307 317 400       SEEN-BY: 261/38 280/464 292/854 8125 317/3 322/757 331/313 333/808       SEEN-BY: 335/206 364 370 342/200 633/280 4500/1       PATH: 106/127 221/6 335/364 292/854 229/426           |
