   I'd heard about the loudness wars affecting "remasters" -- I've compared   
   post-2000s remasters with originals and been left wanting.   
      
   I didn't think they'd try to scrimp on audio quality on vinyl, which is   
   most likely going to be listened to by an audiophile.   
      
   I tried explaining to my daughter who grew up with streaming that we   
   used to have to wait until a song came on the radio then hold the tape   
   recorder up to the speaker to tape Your Favorite Song.   :)
