   The bottom line is if YOU notice a difference.  ;)   
      
   How are you listening to your music: open-air speakers?     
   standard headphones?  in-ear headphones?   
      
   FLAC also has various levels of compression too. Maybe you     
   could adjust that to get closer to the non-discernable     
   difference that you seek.
