   Hello All!

Can anyone recognize this song? It's from the mid 80's.
It's probably too easy to look up since I included far more
lyrics than I should, but I like the "books" reference!

   Here's a couple more.

nnt-1: I only left the first word of the song as the clue.

nnt-2: A tune with a longer intro and a nice Spanish flare.

You may be wondering what's this all about. Well.. these tunes
are part of a CD mix I put together labelled "EZ-mix" many
years ago for my car. The originals were transferred from
cassette collections, and then onto CD.

I'll consider making better quality samples (yes.. there's more
coming!). These were just quick captures using WindowsXP
   Recorder and/or Audacity.

Here's the rest of the mix to try and guess.

A popular band in the late 70's:

This one is too easy, but I couldn't find a spot with *just*
   some distinctive music:

This one might be trickier for most of you:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-5.mp3

This one is the same band in ntt-0:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-6.mp3

This woman has a much more famous tune about white oryctolagus
   cuniculus:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-7.mp3

This one was part of the soundtrack of a famous movie about
   loose feet:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-8.mp3

This fellow is known for his famous sneer:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-9.mp3

   Same band as in ntt-8:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-10.mp3

This is the longest sample, and probably has too many clues to
make it too easy! But the tune is pretty fun, and perfect when
driving; I couldn't resist holding this one back too much:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-11.mp3

I couldn't resist witholding clues and provided a longer sample
for this tune also. I believe this woman was referred to as the
   female Springsteen.

Ok.. I'm going to make this one harder. Too much of the lyrics
would make it too easy. But maybe the voice is distinctive
   enough:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-13.mp3

This one might be too obscure for most of you. It has a nice
easy laid-back sound all the way through:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-14.mp3

This one is a kind of like a letter in a post-apocalyptic world
of music. I wonder if anyone remembers this one or recognizes
   it:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-15.mp3

Ok.. this one is short. It could be too easy for Canadians:

    https://kolico.ca/quiz/ntt-16.mp3

And that concludes the tunes one of my ancient mix CDs for the
   roads!
