   Do you have the port-sharing parameter added to your SIO command line in    
   CONFIG.SYS?   
      
   ie:   
      
   DEVICE=C:\SIO\SIO.SYS (COM1,3F8,IRQ4,-) (COM2,2F3,IRQ3,-)    
   (COM3,INTERNET:3E8,NONE:IRQ4,-) (COM4,INTERNET:2E8,NONE:IRQ3,-)   
      
   This is for a standard COM1 and COM2, and virtual COM3 and COM4.  The dash (-)    
   parameter enables sharing the port between applications.
