It was the        JA> first, and I was 10 years old at the time, and if there had never        JA> been another Star Wars movie that would have stook on its own for        JA> all time. :-)               I bet you enjoy it even more now that you're older.               RN> I liked little Jake Lloyd in I, espscially during the pod race and not        RN> just for that, but II and III had a miscast Anakin character replacing        RN> him. I could almost refer to his replacement as the 2nd Jar Jar Binks        RN> without the humor, for all the interest I had in him.               JA> I respect your opinion, and I've heard it said over and over that        JA> Hayden was a bad cast, but I just heard something the other day...                JA> You know Star Wars Celebration was just this past weekend in        JA> Orlando? Turns out when they announced Hayden would be there his        JA> autograph table/line/tickets/whatever sold out faster than anyone's        JA> ever had before! Like him or not, he WAS Anikan in the movies. :-)              Maybe fans just wanted his autograph, but who knows?               JA> I loved the prequels, but I know the vocal minority hated them and        JA> say they are the worst things ever. It's okay for people to        JA> disagree. :-)              Yes, it is, but for some, there exists only THEIR viewpoint.                RN> My two sons came over to the house and "dad-napped" me on my birthday        RN> just to see that movie. The line to get in was long, but the next        RN> weekend I took my wife and daughter to see it. I'm speaking of IV, of        RN> course. The only way to get my wife to go was to tell her there was a        RN> band in it. You should have seen her face.               JA> LOL - well, it wasn't a lie. :-)              See below, but you are right. The look on her face was priceless.              I mean, who would have thought there would be an alien jazz band in another       galaxy?              I hate lying, but sometimes you have to in order to spare someone else's       feelings. The result is that everybody lies for one reason or another. I try       very hard not to.                     Regards,              Roger        --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+ W10 (1703)        * Origin: NCS BBS - Houma, LoUiSiAna - (1:3828/7)    |
