   Surprised you have not heard of Scott & Bailey.  It was a cop show with a   
   mostly female cast... although maybe not "hot" enough for you... :)

   Not at first.  My recollection was that it was a BBC show first, and then   
   BBCA joined in when BBS was considering axing it after season one.  So, maybe   
   I point the finger at the wrong BBC.  :)  Then again, the plot was not near   
   as good the second season so who knows.

   I dunno... AMC also had Mad Men, and they still have Halt & Catch Fire.

   I suspect, but don't know, that there will be another spinoff in that   
   lineage, like Lewis was handing off to the tall, brooding partner of his.   
      
   Is Endeavour over or just off until next season?  Hope that was not the last   
   but was worried it might be.  IMHO, I saw no reason to kill that one off if   
   that was it.  That one is my favorite of the 3.  Too soon.

   Love Doc Martin.  Actually, the receptionist had "moved on" to a sitcom while   
   she was still the receptionist.  I guess the short seasons allow them to be on   
   more than one show.  There is another that left us too soon... The IT Crowd.
