   I was very disappointed in the remake.  One thing I didn't include in the   
   comment for the 1951 movie was the scientific background of Sam Jaffe, who   
   played Professor Barhardt.   
      
   I paid to see the original so many times back then that I knew everyone's   
   part.  Now, I can see it whenever I like,  Bernard Herrmann's music was a real   
   treat and added much to the tone of the 1951 movie.  It is my favorite B&W   
   SciFi movie and my favorite in color is 2001: A Space Odyssey.

   I would suggest that you watch it and give us any of your feedback on it that   
   you want to.  I have a couple of others I wrote, named Satisfaction (1988) and   
   the other was Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), if I can find the latter.
