Watched it a couple of weeks ago.               AA> [...]               RM>> It's written by the same guy who wrote John Wick. I can        RM>> definitely see the similarities.               AA> I have John Wick poised and ready to watch, maybe later        AA> tonight.              I finished watching John Wick last night. Similaries between        it and Nobody abound. I thought the lines beween the Russian        mob leader and his son when the father asks "From who did you        steal the car?" ... Son answers, "Nobody" ..was pretty funny.              John Wick was clearly a more polished production, and a serious        storyline throughout. The part where Wick and the mob boss        duke it out "in honour" to the death reminded me of another        film that plays out exactly like that - but I can't remember        what film that was.              I just always find it funny that mobsters or assassins have no        trouble killing people they basically don't know.. but they get        very upset when one of their own (a wife, a kid, or another        gang member) is killed by someone.              Nobody relied on some humour every now and then and (in my        opinion) had a Tarantino comic-book style to the staging of the        scenes.              Once scene in John Wick was very bad technically. The scene        where they draw the female assassin to a particular place and        is surrounded by four gunmen standing around her to form a        four-cornered square, and shoot at her. If that were real,        that would make the diametrically opposed gunmen pointing their        guns at each other - thus shooting themselves! I thought that        was a badly staged.              --        ../|ug       --- OpenXP 5.0.50        * Origin: (1:396/45.29)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 14/0 19/25 33 38 30/0 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/101 633       SEEN-BY: 106/987 120/340 123/131 124/5014 5016 129/305 154/10 203/0       SEEN-BY: 218/700 221/0 1 6 226/30 227/114 702 229/101 424 426 428       SEEN-BY: 229/550 700 1016 1017 240/1120 5832 249/206 317 400 261/38       SEEN-BY: 280/464 5003 282/464 1038 288/100 292/8125 301/0 1 101 113       SEEN-BY: 301/123 310/31 317/3 322/757 342/200 387/25 26 396/45 423/120       SEEN-BY: 460/58 633/280 770/1 920/1 2452/250 5058/104       PATH: 396/45 280/464 301/1 229/426           |
