I bought the TV series on DVD a while back, and I'm currently on the
fourth review of it. One favorite (apart from the obvious ones) is the
"Silly Job Interview." Perfectly cast with John as the ill-willed
interviewer only out to poke fun at the poor guy who just trying to get a
job; who was skillfully played by Graham Chapman. John's antics with the
little bell and the "good night, di-ding-ding-ding." That and the
Frenchmen lecturing us about the Flying Sheep thing, oh, my. :)

I recall watching the series on TV over here when it was fairly new, not
long after the series started airing in its homeland. It started on
Swedish TV in 1969, according to some sources, so it must have been back
then. Of course, being very young at the time, I couldn't understand most
of it, but some stuff was fun to watch even then. I remember the It's man,
as well as the Fish Slapping Dance, and some other sketches, but much is
   also lost in time.

What is everybody else's first and present memory of the dear old Monty
   sketches?
