-----------------------        - e-Ministries -        - by Jon Justvig -        - November 23, 2010 -        --------------------------------------------------------------------               Issue #: 4               After God had created the heavens and the Earth, man and all the        animals. A river was formed to water the garden of Eden where Adam        and Eve were created. Flowing from the garden were four seperate        rivers; Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and Euphrates. These rivers were        clear as crystal, beautiful at the very site.               [KJV] Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;        and from thence it was parted, and became into four        heads.                [KJV] Gen 2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which        compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there        is gold;               [KJV] Gen 2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium        and the onyx stone.                [KJV] Gen 2:13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same        is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.               [KJV] Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is        it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the        fourth river is Euphrates.               Now we have a wonderful garden and man was put in thereof to take        care of and nourish it.               [KJV] Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the        garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.               God is now about to warn man not to eat of the tree of good and        evil, although he may eat of any of other tree. Because we have        free will we to choose the right things to do. How easy it is we        want to do the things we're not suppose to do and not do the things        we are suppose to.                [KJV] Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every        tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:                [KJV] Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,        thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou        eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.               Here we see that this man, named Adam will not be alone but will        have a mate to keep him company.               [KJV] Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man        should be alone; I will make him an help meet for        him.                At this time, Adam was the ruler of the earth where he named every        animal, bird and everything the creepth the earth. He had dominion        over the whole Earth.               [KJV] Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every        beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and        brought them unto Adam to see what he would call        them: and whatsoever Adam called every living        creature, that was the name thereof.               [KJV] Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl        of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for        Adam there was not found an help meet for him.                At last, Adam will not be alone. God will cause him to sleep so        there will be no pain and from the dust of the ground and the rib        from his body, God will create his mate.               [KJV] Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon        Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs,        and closed up the flesh instead thereof;                [KJV] Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man,        made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.               Happy was Adam to have as Eve as a companion so he will not be        alone; a perfect match for Adam. Remember, we are as people are        members of the body of God. We are made in His image; both man        and woman alike.               [KJV] Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and        flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman,        because she was taken out of Man.               [KJV] Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his        mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they        shall be one flesh.               The purity of man and woman of how it should be in a perfect        harmonious world.               [KJV] Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and        were not ashamed.               If you've enjoyed our meeting, remember to ask your SysOp to carry        MINISTER, an echo with FidoNet if he/she doesn't already. Remember        also to keep your head up high. May God bless you and keep you!               *** This conclude this issue of e-Ministries provided by Jon        Justvig.              --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag        * Origin: Nightfall Ordain (1:298/5)    |
