--------------------------               - e-Ministries -               - by Jon Justvig -               - September 20, 2011 -               --------------------------------------------------------------------                             Issue #: 10                             We are continuing from the last issue where we were going over the               family linage from Adam to Jared. You can see here that Jared was               quite old and that is inspiring because at his age, he was still               able to father children. Hundreds of years old these folks are and               how blessed they were.                             (KJV) Gen 5:19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred               years, and begat sons and daughters:                             (KJV) Gen 5:20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty               and two years: and he died.                              (KJV) Gen 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat               Methuselah:                              (KJV) Gen 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah               three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:                             (KJV) Gen 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty               and five years:                             (KJV) Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God               took him.                               (KJV) Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see               death; and was not found, because God had translated               him: for before his translation he had this               testimony, that he pleased God.                               Enoch did not have to see death because he was pleased by God and               because he Enoch had walked with the Lord. He was not found because               he was carried up to heaven. It was the faith that Enoch had of the               Lord. Faith can and will move mountains. If we only just believe!                             (KJV) Gen 5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven               years, and begat Lamech:                              (KJV) Gen 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven               hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and               daughters:                             (KJV) Gen 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred               sixty and nine years: and he died.                             (KJV) Gen 5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years,               and begat a son:                             (KJV) Gen 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall               comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands,               because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.                             (KJV) Gen 5:30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred               ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:                             (KJV) Gen 5:31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy               and seven years: and he died.                             (KJV) Gen 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat               Shem, Ham, and Japheth.                             Here you have seen the continual linage from the first man up to               Noah. We will explore the life of Noah in the following article. He               was a great man and has been remembered by a multitude.                             If you've enjoyed our meeting, remember to ask your SysOp to carry               MINISTER, an echo with FidoNet if he/she doesn't already. Remember               also to keep your head up high. May God bless you and keep you!                             *** This conclude this issue of e-Ministries provided by Jon               Justvig.                     --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag        * Origin: Nightfall Ordain Fidonet -- vintagebbsing.com:8080 (1:298/5)    |
