-----------------------               - e-Ministries -               - by Jon Justvig -               - March 4, 2011 -               --------------------------------------------------------------------                             Issue #: 8                             In the last article we went over the death of Abel. Murder such as               this started from the disobedience from when Adam and Eve were in               the garden. Do as God commands you to so, without question and you               will be just fine. Defy him and go agaist what he says and he'll               have wrath written all over you until you repent. Now Cain is on               the Lord's side by the fear in Cain's eyes, he knew he would be next               if something wasn't done. So there was a deal made there.                             (KJV) Gen 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and               dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.                              (KJV) Gen 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare               Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of               the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.                              For God's great justice, Cain is protected and now has a child and               a city even named after him, named Enoch. Generations pass...                                           (KJV) Gen 4:18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat               Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and               Methusael begat Lamech.                                            (KJV) Gen 4:19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the               one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.                              (KJV) Gen 4:20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as               dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.                             (KJV) Gen 4:21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father               of all such as handle the harp and organ.                             (KJV) Gen 4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer               of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister               of Tubalcain was Naamah.                             (KJV) Gen 4:23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah,               Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my               speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a               young man to my hurt.                               (KJV) Gen 4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech               seventy and sevenfold.                              This linage of family seems to have a familiarity in common and that               is murderers. Since God's beautiful creation, two men have already               been killed. It seems to be out of anger and jealousy. It's not               the point that you're just forgiven like that, you must put away               your selfish acts and turn from them. Start finding your spiritual               gifts and live the most with them.                                            (KJV) Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son,               and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath               appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom               Cain slew.                              Since Cain got another chance to do right, Adam and Eve have another               son and they called him Seth. Seth had replaced Abel. I just hope               this time Cain understands and does not let it greif take the best               of him.                              (KJV) Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give               thee the desires of thine heart.                             (KJV) Gen 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and               he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon               the name of the LORD.                              This concludes this teaching. Later we wil resume on Genesis               Chapter 5. I hope you've been blessed and enlightened. Where there               is a will there is a way. Look for the Lord through his teachings.               He will take you places you've only dream.                               If you've enjoyed our meeting, remember to ask your SysOp to carry               MINISTER, an echo with FidoNet if he/she doesn't already. Remember               also to keep your head up high. May God bless you and keep you!                             *** This conclude this issue of e-Ministries provided by Jon               Justvig.              --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag        * Origin: Nightfall Ordain Fidonet -- vintagebbsing.com:8080 (1:298/5)    |
