-----------------------               - e-Ministries -               - by Jon Justvig -               - December 2, 2010 -               --------------------------------------------------------------------                             Issue #: 5                             Everything to be going so well with the creation of Heaven, Earth,               night and day, all of life including the animals and flock of the               air. Now something terrible happens. With all good things, there               is always it's equal and opposite.                             [KJV] Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the               field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto               the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of               every tree of the garden?                             Remember, serpent or snake also means "liar and deceiver". A                creature that is so subtil (meaning persuasiven) was about to               change mankind forever. This serpent is now tempting Eve against               what God had specifically forbidden. When you go against God you're               asking for trouble. This is exactly what is about to take place.                             [KJV] Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of               the fruit of the trees of the garden:                              [KJV] Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of               the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it,               neither shall ye touch it, Gen 3:4 And the serpent said       unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:                              God was telling the truth, he wasn't lying when he said if you touch               it you will die. This doesn't mean that you will passaway               immediately, just that there's going to be a consequence for the               action that is taken if you disobey God.                             [KJV] Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not               surely die:                              [KJV] Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,               then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as               gods, knowing good and evil.                             Knowing good and evil was never intended to be our job, this created               the ultimate problem we see now until the end. Man and woman wasn't               meant to be God, play or pretend. This was Satan's problem when he               tried to overthrow God. He was the most beautiful angel in Heaven               and the moment he tried to do one up on God was time he was fallen               and he will fall forever, taking as many souls he can with him. So,               keep your guard up and don't be fooled by the wicked schemes of the               devil.                             [KJV] Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for               food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a               tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the               fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her               husband with her; and he did eat.                             It might have looked good and tasted good, it wasn't meant for us.               Woman and man alike were pure up to this point until Eve took that               fruit and ate it. Hey, this is good fruit, I'll give it to my               husband. So now both man and woman were set for destruction. What               always seem pleasing could be pleasing for the wrong reason and               intent. Temptation plays a part in a lot of peoples lives and               destroys them inside and out. Just like this death wasn't immediate               that doesn't mean it's not going to happen. We fool ourselves               sometimes with this kind of thinking.                             [KJV] Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew               that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves               together, and made themselves aprons.                             It wasn't because they were naked, they were filled with guilt by               going against God. You can run but you can't hide.                             [KJV] Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in               the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his               wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God               amongst the trees of the garden.                              Hiding from God set off the loudest bells you could hear with God.               Doing something you're not supposed to do and then trying to hide               because they believed in their heart they had done wrong and didn't               want to claim it. It was the only thing God asked them to do and               they didn't do it. You know temptation is something. If you know               you can't do something, you want to do it. If you can do it, you               don't want to.                             [KJV] Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a               man soweth, that shall he also reap.                             If you sow a pineapple tree, you will get pineapple. If it soe a               cherry tree, you will get cherries. If you sow hate towards someone               even if they don't hate you, someone that does will come along and               do it to you even more. Have love and peace in your heart and you               should have a good day. Always meditate on the Word of God, night               and day. Just keep in mind, if you disobey God, you're going to get               his wrath one way or another and it's different for everybody               because we're all were created different, one thing might not bother               us like it would someone else. God knows our heart. Read the word               and be obedient!                             [KJV] Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him,               Where art thou?                             We all know that God knew what had already been done. He has a               God-sense for this kind of thing. So God is calling Adam out from               where he's hiding.                             [KJV] Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I               was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.                             Naked? How on earth did Adam know how was naked. Of course, his               eyes were open, knowing good and evil. From time to time, I see               people somewhere or another that are blind, never seeing the world               seem the most blessed and happy. Just brings up the question, are               we deceived if were told not to see? It's that temptation again of               what it is that you want to see knowing you can't. I wondering what               went into the mind of Adam and Eve's imagination of what they saw               and dreamed of before they were opened up to this fresh can of               worms.                             [KJV] Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked?               Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded               thee that thou shouldest not eat?                              [KJV] Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be               with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.                             See, now the truth comes out. And, he couldn't take the blame for               what he had done, he wanted to put the blame on Eve too just as Eve               gave Adam the fruit from the forbidden tree. I have to do it, you               do too.                             Think about the punishment from God being deceived in your own life,               doing something you know is wrong in your heart and do it anyway.               Next time we'll go over what happened as the consequence.                             Remember to look up, keep your heart strong. Don't let anybody               fool you into doing something that you know in your heart is wrong.               If it's right in your mind, but you have this strong feeling about               it might not be right, remember, that's the holy spirit trying to               stop you before you make a mistake and have to repent afterward.                             If you've enjoyed our meeting, remember to ask your SysOp to carry               MINISTER, an echo with FidoNet if he/she doesn't already. Remember               also to keep your head up high. May God bless you and keep you!                             *** This conclude this issue of e-Ministries provided by Jon               Justvig.                     --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag        * Origin: Nightfall Ordain Fidonet -- vintagebbsing.com:8080 (1:298/5)    |
