|    The Prayer of Faith    |
|    09 Sep 16 03:41:23    |
Hello dear friends,              Let us open our Bibles to James Chapter 5, verse 13. Today, we'll be       discussing the Prayer of Faith. Believing and resting our trust in       our Lord God through prayer.              Jas 5:13Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let       him sing psalms.              Whether you're in trouble or just have a happy heart, God wants to       hear your prayers. He knows what's in your heart, He wants you to       acknowledge Him and make special time with Him personally.              Jas 5:14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the       church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the       name of the Lord:       Jas 5:15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord       shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be       forgiven him.              And, if you're not feeling well, go to your church and ask the       pastor to pray for you. The key thing here is believing to receive       the healing from our Lord.              Also, if you know if you have done wrong in the sight of God, do not       worry. He has made you righteous if you've already accepted Him. He       is always with us wherever we go.              Jas 5:16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for       another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a       righteous man availeth much.              It's good not to hold things in. Release your faith and open up to       what you may have done wrong, as well as, pray for one another. A       prayer from a righteous person is powerful and effective!              Jas 5:17Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he       prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the       earth by the space of three years and six months.       Jas 5:18And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the       earth brought forth her fruit.              See here. Elias had done wrong and God forgave him and even answered       his prayer. So come to a point where you trust and rely on Him for       all your needs and your prayers will be answered.              Jas 5:19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one       convert him;       Jas 5:20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the       error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a       multitude of sins.              Isn't that wonderful news? If one of us is at fault and is corrected       that it will cover many sins and they will no longer be remembered!              I hope you enjoyed this message. I will try to write more at a later       time. Peace of joy be with you.       --- SBBSecho 3.00-Win32        * Origin: Stepping Stone BBS - telnet://vintagebbsing.com (1:298/25)    |
