I was confused a little bit when reading a Wikipedia article titled 1999 Sydney
   hailstorm .
A image on the page showed hailstones and a Tape Measure streached out over
   some of the larger ones.

The reading on theTape Blade was in Inches.
I wondered why Inches instead of Centimeters.

I reside in the USA and don't use the Metric System.
Years ago when I used Kodak Chemicals I remember seeing 68 degrees F / 20
degrees C on the chemical(s) instruction sheet and memorized that conversion
when I was 13 years old.

Just wondering about that image made Me think of asking You about it.
