Fun for awhile, but after 20+- years, I figured       enough is enough, & got a job again               Well, in 20 years I'll either be gone or sitting in a chair drooling on       myself with no idea what's going on. :)              > I found that having 7 day weekends each week was devaluing them as time off               That is one devaluation I'm all for. :)               > as every day blended into the next               Been that way most of my life.        All too often I'll be talking about something and think it was only a       short time ago and be reminded it was several years ago.              > Now I expect to work until minimum age 80               I would have continued working, maybe, had I not been considered a work       horse who was on call 24/7 and to drop everything and hurry off somewhere at       the last minute. And considered full time with no life other than work.        If I had been left alone to work one or two days a week only, I may have       stayed on the job.               > Nice guy - whatever happened to her? Wasn't a longer term sync?               She was hot for me but not I for her. She wanted more than just a       friendship.        She was a widow and had several children, from about 12-25. I think she       had like five of them. Seems a new one to me popped up every now and then.        My mother and I convinced her to continue her education and she       eventually became a practical nurse and life was better for her.        In 1987 she was having financial problems and needed a car but couldn't       afford one. I gave her the car my mother left me but within a just a few       months her next to youngest, who had just gotten his license, totaled it.        He died in a motorcycle accident at around 20.        She died a couple of years later after a short illness.               > From the Queen, or whomever is on the throne at the time               The way the old girl is going, she may still be there then. :)        I really like the Queen and greatly admire her.        I am an Anglophile. But it saddens me the way England is going now...        I just hope she outlives Charles...        Joe       --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5        * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 www.doccyber.org bbs.docsplace.org (1:135/392)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 123 10/0 1 15/0 18/0 90/1 102/401 103/1 705 105/81       SEEN-BY: 106/201 116/116 120/302 340 616 123/0 10 25 115 126 131 160       SEEN-BY: 123/180 200 525 755 124/5016 129/305 330 331 135/300 366       SEEN-BY: 135/371 379 382 383 384 385 388 390 391 392 153/757 7715       SEEN-BY: 154/10 30 40 50 700 203/0 214/22 218/0 1 109 650 700 720       SEEN-BY: 218/810 840 850 860 870 880 220/70 90 221/0 6 222/2 226/17       SEEN-BY: 226/18 30 227/114 201 229/110 111 112 113 206 307 317 400       SEEN-BY: 229/424 426 428 452 470 664 700 240/1120 5832 250/1 261/1466       SEEN-BY: 266/512 267/800 275/1000 280/464 5003 282/1038 292/854 299/6       SEEN-BY: 300/4 301/1 317/3 320/219 322/757 341/234 342/200 396/45       SEEN-BY: 423/120 460/58 633/280 712/848 1321 770/1 100 330 340 772/210       SEEN-BY: 772/220 230 2320/105 2452/250 3634/0 12 15 24 27 50 56 5020/1042       PATH: 135/392 300 3634/12 154/10 280/464 770/1 218/840 700 229/426           |
