   Ok, I dno't understand it, but that's a good thing, I'm sure.

   I'm, I guess, "pre-Diabetic"; my doc mnitors my gl;ucose levels via a
quarterly blood test I go for (non-fasting, as she's working with a baseline,
rather than an absolute); Fasting is fine, but onyl if I can get the first
appointments in the morning (my lab merxtdoor used t open at 06h00 & take you
on a first come , first served, but now it's appointment-only, beginning at
   07h00. :P

I seem to be dong well enough, on average, & since I'm an average type guy,
that works for me! I've lost 60lbs in the past year, within my planned
schedule, now I'm doubling the rate of loss & going after the next 80 to my
   final/preferred weight of 220. (I'm 6' tall, so me being 300 doesn't look
terrible right now, but Iu'm mnore concerned with health & ease of climbling
stairs than how my looks affects others--only my wife gets an opinion on that.)

Ooh, nice, Leonard Cohen just popped on the radio, singing the full

No doubt! Glad you did -- don't want to lose you, mate!

   > The young lady friend I know is a vegetarian (that from her parents).
   > Well, I can respect her view on that, but I think of this tagline:
   > How can you eat one of God's Creatures?? In a sandwich. :P

Or "right next to the mashed potatoes."; I'll takeeither -- a sandwich or a
   meat & potatoes platter.

   > I rarely go out to eat anymore...buffets or otherwise. I can't afford it.
   > I think my wallet and bank account will have the heart attack and stroke
   > for all the medical visits in the last 9 months.

I've cut back on my eating out, evemn though Im fortunate to never have
medical costs, except for the odd medication not covered by our government
   health insurance plan(GHIP).

   > I forgot to take the plug in charger for my phone to the hospital, so

Happens to me all the time, unless my daughter accompanes me, t hen seh
rem,em,bers to grab a couple for us both, & if my phone is on charge, she can
   updater my wife for me.

   Was it 12?

Sheldon loved anything of comic hero memorabilia.

   > Remember...July is National Baked Bean Month :P

Never had real baked neans, I'm suire -- just the rare can of some thing --
but not even those any more; I do buy refried black beans in the can, to make
my Saturday morning breakfast bean dip. (I keep it simple -- adding just a
tad of beef bouillion, & a tsp of habanero sauce)

My wife's been getting me fat on her homecooking!

   > That's what I had this past Sunday...heart rate of 144. But, I have no

Not a problem -- you need to take care of yourself first, always!

   > ... Newspaper Headline: "Air Head Fired."

I can sort of figure out thestory on this one, buit I'm still hoping the air
in his head was mostly hydrogen & oxygen, instead of nitrogen, & there was a
beautiful & sudden kaboom moment! *LOL*
