   Deffo -- I don't return to pubs that are too noisy for comfortable    
   conversations.

   We had those, but we replaced the one, on the driver's side with a   
   rear-facing  self serve bsy with a bumper to back against.

   Yup, so much better than when it was an elevator-type platform, that seized    
   often, if the driver wasn't parked exactly 'L' thus to the sidewalk.   
      
   The new one is an electic ramp that, in caes of failure, only requires 6lbs   
   of  lift to deploy or stow it.   
      
   So handy, plus the bus fronts 'kneel' to accomodate seniors, walkers,   
   crutches, strollers, et al.
