   If you think of it when creating it, you can define a column as phone number,   
   & it'll format anything you put in there that's not xxx-xxx-xxxx (or "(xxx)"   
   for  the first 3)   
      
   I generally don't, as I'm putting in a lot of overseas numbers; most are xxx-   
   xxxx-xxxx, but not all; I tend to format so country & city code form the   
   first  block (612 for northern Australia, e.g.) & have no idea how they   
   natively  formsat their numbers, when writing for international callers.   
      
   Like mine is country code of 1, followed by area code(778), exchange(882) &    
   phone number "POPE"   
      
   So I write it, for non-USA foreigners:   
   +1-778-882-7673   
   (I used to put "POPE" for the last 4,. but nobody has those phones with the    
   alphabet on the keys any more (I've got it memorized, so don't need it; if I    
   ever forget it, I know how to use Google)

   I had the "Master"(spelled out, to differentiate from Mr. George Pope(my   
   dad))  but no esq; I always thought esquire was for educated(university grad   
   or  Masters) folk alone.   
      
   Ny strict definition, that's not necessary to validly use it, so I   
   occasionally might tack it onto my name in especially formal communications   
   where I don't  mind an assumption being made that I'm a lawyer.

   One of my faves that shih tzu one. . .   
      
   People get freaked out over saying that breed's name -- it's shih-tzu --    
   exactly as written & properly pronounced! They knmow they can't pronounce tz   
   as a starter sound, so they adjust the entire phrase to suit them.   
      
   I can teach anyone to say that right -- just say cats...soup & drop the ca & op   
      
   Just like I can teach Newfie on one card:

   OIL   
   BEEF   
   HOOKED   
      
   Say that as often as you need to get the accent into your mouth, then start    
   calling everyone buddy ("Buddy was filling my gas tank & 'accidentally' went    
   over the 30L limit by $1, so I tipped it to him & another as thanks" Nah,    
   Newfies don't tip. . *LOL*)   
      
   I can get along anywhere I might suddenly wind up, unless it's a culture   
   firmly against cripples, then I'll beef hooked for sure!   
      
   In any major city, there'll be a small core of English speakers somewhere, &    
   I'll find them.   
      
   Easy to find a major city -- follow any stream orcreek(or crick) downstream   
   til it hits a river, then follow that downstream to a port city near the   
   mouth.-
