     There sure can be.  Not always, but often enough it seems.   
     And then there are employees who pull the sex/gender card just as some   
   play the race card.   
     Thankfully those are rare in my business.

     I had a woman working with me one time who flirted with nearly anything   
   in pants, but, if someone said something to her she got offended.     
     You wanna play that game sister, its a two way street.

     Yep, and I forgot about the state sales tax of six per cent of everything   
   one buys.  The only exception is food.   
     Then you have various federal sales taxes, in addition to income.  Such   
   as federal (and state) taxes on gasoline.   
     There are also state property taxes on land and automobiles. If you own a   
   business there are business taxes.   
     Everything is taxed at some point by some government agency and all these   
   are passed along to the ultimate consumer in higher prices.   
     One can tax a company on their product/services, but the company doesn't   
   pay that tax, its passed along in higher prices to the buyer all along the   
   way.

      Probably.

     My landlord is into flipping houses as well.   
     He buys some run down house, slaps some paint on it and sells it.

     I would tell those asking why I was visiting online friends I would tell   
   them I've known them for years.   
     But I brought death and destruction with me.   
     One woman I visited, (knew her from here) came down with brain cancer.   
     Another old friend died, and the wife of another friend died.   
     Plus others have had various health problems.   
     One guy's dog died.   
     One city I visited erupted into riots the following year.   
     Another town had immigration problems.

   nobody cares to hear it -- I'n sure you've had the same problem, almost 20   
   years longer than I have!   
      
     One can learn a lot from the older generations.   
     I was always interested in history, and personal history as well, about   
   life before I was born so always enjoyed hearing their stories.  (Unless the   
   story was for the upteenth time).  :)
