The worst for me was when I got permanently locked out of my Apple ID. I had
enabled 2FA on that account where I had all of my purchased apps, movies & TV
shows built up over several years. Long story short, and through a series of
unfortunate events, I didn't have access to an iOS device signed into my Apple
ID, nor did I have my backup code saved (as I thought I had).

I called Apple up expecting to be able to prove my identity and get access
back to my account, but nope. Their only solution was to make a new Apple ID
   with a new email address.

Moral of the story: Periodically audit your accounts to make sure your backup
   methods still work.

We're getting close to that it seems. Now that Microsoft has switched to
using the Chromium engine, we're down to three browser engines that I'm aware
   of:

Webkit: Safari (Mac, iPhone & iPad)
Blink: Chromium (Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave, Opera, etc)
   Gecko: Firefox

According to statcounter.com: Chrome has the most browser market share at
70.1% followed by Safari at 18.8% and Firefox all the way down at 3.5%.

(Chrome = Chrome + Samsung Internet + Opera. It's unclear whether Edge on
this list differentiates between Edge Classic & Chromium Edge).
