      Not to get too close to modern politics and treading lightly here, if   
   you want to change the future, erase the past.   
      For better or worse one cannot change the past.  What has been done or   
   undone cannot be changed.  Learn from the past and don't make the same   
   mistakes again.  (This is good advice personally as well).
