MSGID: 1:18/200.0 604d3364       -=> Daryl Stout wrote to Sean Dennis <=-               DS> My late parents grew up during the depression, so they were truly,        DS> frugal cheapskates...nothing was wasted...food or otherwise.              There's nothing wrong with that at all. I have learned to become very       frugal myself though I am thankful that I am receiving food stamps right       now. It's not a lot of money but it's enough to where I will not go       hungry.               DS> The perfect example is prior to a winter storm in Arkansas. The joke        DS> is that the TV meteorologists will issue "A Grocery Store Warning"...              That happens here also. 1/2" of snow sends others into a panic and they       clear off the shelves. It's stupid but it also shows people have no       idea about being prepared for a disaster.               DS> ones that gave the Chinese the idea to do anal swabs to check for it??              I have seen so many funny memes on the Internet about that ...               DS> The nasal swabs are very uncomfortable, and I saw a story where a        DS> woman suffered a puncture to her brain, and spinal fluid leaked out,        DS> because they stuck the swab in too far.              The last time I had a COVID test, the tech did not try to probe my brain       but swabbed my far-rear nasal passage. It was slightly uncomfortable       but not painful.               DS> I had one done before my hernia surgery last June, and have to do        DS> another one next month before my colonoscopy.              I'll be having one at the end of April. I asked for another endoscopy       so they can take a look at my ulcer again and stretch out my esophagus       with a balloon (I have a crushed esophagus that gives me problems       swallowing).               DS> I'm still too young for        DS> a COVID-19 shot (I'll be 61 soon)...but in Arkansas, Governor Asa        DS> Hutchinson has said that "If cases keep declining, the directives        DS> will change to guidelines come April...and if supply permits, shots        DS> will be available to all adult Arkansans by May".              I can get one through the VA if I want but I am waiting for the       Johnson & Johnson shot to become available. It's a standard adrenovirus       shot (like the flu shot) and it's a single shot. This partiuclar shot       has far less side effects than the mRNA ones (the rest) and it is       designed to, if you catch COVID, lessen the symptoms. They say that       with this shot, you will not die from COVID.              Being that I've already had COVID-19 last October, I am not as in need       as others (I'm still producing antibodies) but I will break down and get       the J & J shot.              Later,       Sean              ... To err is human -- to forgive is against company policy.       ___ MultiMail/Win v0.52              --- Maximus/2 3.01        * Origin: Outpost BBS * bbs.outpostbbs.net:10123 (1:18/200)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 18/200 90/1 105/81 120/340 123/131 129/305 226/30 227/114       SEEN-BY: 227/702 229/101 424 426 428 452 664 981 1016 1017 240/5832       SEEN-BY: 249/206 307 317 400 282/1038 292/854 317/3 322/757 342/200       SEEN-BY: 633/280       PATH: 18/200 229/426           |
