     IMHO Germany was treated shabbily after the Great War by the Allies.   
     There was a lot of bad blood between a England, France and Germany before   
   then.   
     Germany had gone through a lot from the late 1840s till then, then after   
   the various states were united into one Germany with the leaders seeing   
   England's empire and wanting one as well, for which England didn't want.

     If I'm not mistaken, that's were Nero (who makes a burning program) is   
   located.   
     I'm in Huntington, WV, where Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia meet on the   
   Ohio River to the north (Ohio) and the Big Sandy River (Kentucky) to the   
   west.

     I have never had a board myself and don't have a clue how to run one or   
   have the time.   
     I was on several local boards in the late '80s/early '90s when I found   
   Fido.     
     One Memories mod died, another replaced him and when he retired it was   
   handed over to me, simply because I have been here a long time.     
     This a very friendly board and my moderating is minimal.  Mostly just a   
   general reminder its about one's memories, regardless of how long or short   
   that might be.    
      In gist modern religion and politics is a no-no.   
      One can discuss ancient religion (was Odin better than Zeus?) or the   
   like.     
      Or was the HRE better than other empires?   
      But no modern political party is better than the other one (whichever   
   that other one might be).
