     From what I have read the 1920s were a very tumultuous time during the   
   Weimar Republic.  Life was completely different from pre-war days in all   
   areas.  Not a particularly good time to live with all the socioeconomic   
   conditions.

     Reminds me of the early days of Fido where messages here and there where   
   someone wrote "I'm in X (country).  Does anyone receive?"  :)   
     We had posters from all over behind the former Iron Curtain.
